September 2007 Newsletter

Hope you all had a great Labor Day weekend and are ready to begin work on your trees.

Just a reminder the September meeting is a workshop to get our trees in prime shape for our show. Also don’t forget the meeting date has changed this month to the second Thursday (Sept. 13th).

Some  Dates to  Remember :
October 6th and 7th the show – Our Show, Conejo Valley Bonsai Society at the Gardens of the World.

Please be ready to volunteer to work at the show. We need people to walk around and keep an eye on our trees, but more importantly, to be present to answer questions from visitors. The club will supply refreshments for members. An important item is parking, the parking will be for members working only. Unfortunately there will not be enough for visitors, we will only have the back row.   We will also be needing tables.  We will be working out the table numbers on the 13th.

Our meeting dates until the end of the year are:
October 15th (3rd Monday)
November 29th (5th Thursday)
December 20th (3rd Thursday) Xmas party & regular meeting night.

October 31-November 4 – Golden State Bonsai Federation – 30th Annual Convention at Anaheim/Garden Grove
