December 2019 Bonsai Newsletter
The old year is fast coming to a close. The Conejo Valley Bonsai Society will bid a fond farewell to 2019 with our annual Holiday Potluck dinner party on December 19th. The evening begins at 7:30 PM in the Westlake Village Community Room (our regular meeting place) and will consist of:
- Potluck dinner (be sure to let me know what you’ll be bringing)
- Rest and relaxation to piano mu-sic by Guy Ervin (sing-along invited)
- Raffle
- Auction
This is a great time to meet and greet your fellow CVBS members and their guests. If you have not signed up yet, please email me your confirmation, the number of people coming with you, and the dish you are bringing.
Most important of all, bring your money or checkbook for the Raffle and Auction. Through the year we have accumulated some of the trees our demonstrators worked on, which will be up for Auction. In addition, the Auction and Raffle will feature donations from fellow members of both trees and bonsai related items.
