The Conejo Valley Bonsai Society’s 2009 Exhibition at Gardens of the World in Thousand Oaks was a success. We made big improvements in the prepping of the trees. The top-soil dressings, the cleaning of dead needles on pines and junipers, and—thanks to CVBS member Damon DuBois—new tree labels made big improvements over last year’s show.
